News Pool Area Security We now have installed the security cameras in our swimming pool complex as requested by the property owners during the 2007 Annual Meeting. There are three cameras which have been installed on the roof soffit surrounding the shower/dressing room building and one camera inside the equipment room. The cameras will be aimed to provide security coverage at the pool entrance gate, the covered cabana area and the pool waterfall. There will be no cameras covering the dressing rooms, kiddie pool or the main pool. The recorder will be locked in a steel box and access to the recorder will be limited to only one POA board member. The only instance in which the recorded images will be reviewed will be in the event of vandalism or other criminal act. These measures will hopefully curtail the incidents of property damage we experienced in 2006 and 2007. Burn Ban Status: OFF
TCEQ Public Drinking Water Recognition Program The Texas Commission On Environmental Quality has selected the Lost Springs Water Supply Corporation as an award winner for accomplishments made in The Total Coliform Rule in 2006. This basically means our system has been recognized for superior control of the coliform count in our water system. Congratulations to Randy Gonzalez for his efforts and dedication in keeping our system "up and running" and in ensuring the purity of our water. 2008 Annual Property Owners Association Meeting Please mark your calendars to attend our 2008 Annual Property Owners Meeting. This year, as mandated by our by-laws, the meeting will be held on the last Saturday in April, the 26th. The POA meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. and at its conclusion, will be followed immediately by the Water Supply Corporation meeting. This is a great opportunity for you to provide input to the board, meet your current and future neighbors and enjoy a great country picnic. Swimming Pool For the safety of all property owners and guests, please refrain from bringing glass containers into the pool/pavilion area per the posted pool rules and state regulations. We risk being fined and/or having further action taken by the state if an injury occurs or if glass is found within the fenced area during an inspection. |
